The Good Samaritan

During the recent snow fall, the City of Richmond was having trouble getting around to clearing the premises of this First Responder. So our own Keith Harvey took time out from pushing snow at our customer's site to clear this area.

Done gratis, of course; a small token of appreciation for the job these and other public safety people do for us all.

On the Road Again ...

If it's January, this must be snow-removal work.  And that means, a night time run by our guys through the snow to give early help to our customers' properties.

At 11 inches, this was only the 11th worst snow fall in Richmond's history, the worst being 21.6 inches in 1940. That 11 inches may have been true for the rest of Richmond, but our guys faced a 1940's vintage snow fall:

One key to this type of work is heavy equipment, which was tuned up and lined up in preparation for the coming weather:

And then, to work:

24 hours later, all the hard work paid off  - with cleared, safe, walkways and parking areas.

Rolling Through Winter

Travis, Max, Eddie, & Clayton roll into winter action despite the cold.
Our maintenance guys have a job to do, and will not be dissuaded by the merely cold. Winter work can include clean up, repair, trimming, pruning, and installations of both plants and hardscape, which is work well worth doing no matter the weather.

Here are some 'before' pictures of what our guys typically confront on these winter forays.
